Hoernstock 2010
Saturday, August 28, 2010 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
You may remember Woodstock or have heard about it from your parents...It was the 60's and the world was changing. It seems odd to think that just 40 years ago white buses and restaurants were in existence. Women were seriously entering the work force and demanding equal pay. And a new kind of music was evolving and it was taking it's young with it. For some reason all of these new freedoms led to a rebellion of the old ways and rock and roll stepped into our culture.
Woodstock was a 3 day long music extravaganza. Most people stayed for the entire weekend. Hoernstock will continue in the same tradition, with great bands and an overall Love type feeling.
This year's party is a fundraiser for Helping Hearts Helping Hands, an Orphanage in Honduras, started by Erica Cale. Erica is 18 years old and has already moved to Honduras to open the Orphanage and feed the poor and sick children. She will be at the party, don't miss her compelling presentation. We are asking for at least a $10.00 donation, tax deductible. Checks can be written to Helping Hearts Helping Hands, a 501c3 non-profit organization.
